I received a phone call from a gentleman who asked me about my timeshare. Once he knew I had a timeshare that I wanted to sell he proceded to tell me that he had a buyer that was interested right away. The gentleman was calling for Sun Property Networks.
His name was James and he was a fast talker. He told me that all I needed to do was to pay him upfront $1297.00. Thinking that I could trust him I gave him a credit card and followed his instructions. Boy was that a mistake.
He said that the upfront money was so we could be listed in his companies advertising, but he had a buyer already standing by.
Anixious to sell we did all the paperwork and sent it back right away. They always need everything done quickly. After waiting a day or two I started to call James, but would get no where with him.
This happened in November and I am still waiting. I just recently received another phone call from another company doing the same exact thing. I think there needs to be something done with these type of crooks.
