This complaint is about a policy of Target stores, today I shopped at the Target located in Fredericksburg Va, in
Massaponax, I wanted the Deli to thin slice a "Jenny-O" turkey for me as I have had them do in the past sense the meat dept. Has no meat slicer sense all meat's are shipped pre-packaged, I use this turkey sliced thin to make hot turkey sandwiches. Today when I made this request I was informed by the deli employee they were told they were NOT allowed to slice product's from the meat section, that it cut's down on the sale of deli meat's, I was very disappointed and did NOT understand why this would be an issue, #1, long as the store is making a sale what differece does it make what dept. The purchase is made from? Also by NOT allowing the deli to slice my turkey breast not only did you lose the sale of the meat dept. Turkey breast but you also lost the sale of six jar's of turkey gravy I would have also purchased to go with our turkey sandwiches. Do you really think in today's economy you should be restricting "customer" service and satisfaction? Giant Food a compedater of your's does have a full service meat dept. Who will gladly thin slice a turkey breast for me and make money your store would have made had you simply accomidated a reg. Customer. I was also upset this very curtious. Frindly employee got in trouble for simply making a customer happy and satisfied, well, today I was NOT either.
