I have read the other rippoff reports concerning Pokerstars and agree with most but I would really invite someone on the Pro side of this site to explain a few things, not just claim I/we all sore losers.
How can Pokerstars run a satellite tournament, which has 100 people playng, and get it done in 20 minutes in time for the next tournment which this is a qualifer. I have played in hundreds of live games in casinos and 100 players take at least 6 hours. The only way this can be done is through scripted dealing it seems, but I'm willing to listen.
It also seems that more times than not when the rakes have been slow, due to a lot of folding, the table ends up with AA KK JJ to induce betting but someone with a pair of 22's rivers the third 2. This situation happens over and over but with different "carrots".
My suggestion to players is to use Pokerstars as a form of entertainment only. What I do is get in and out of tables often and limit your expense like you do any other type of entertainment per month because you can't make a living with these "odds".
I can only hope that someone who has worked for this company at sometime or another will come forward with hard evidence similar to the guy with the laptop article.
By the way, I owned a software house for 20 years and yes it is possible to cheat people just as many of the articles on this site have claimed. Very easy.
