Company: the vacation station 4922 w. Irlo brnsn mem hwy kissimee, fl i received a call on may 5 from a david cohen. He said that he can rent my orange lake time share week for $2,400. I was going to hang up but it came to my mind that i need that money badly because my wife passed away in october and i needed to buy the head stone for the grave. I don't work and i do not have a large income so i could use that money to purchase the stone. So with my wife on my mind i said ok. He than said the fee is $257. Without thinking i put it on my amex card. He said he will e-mail me the contract. I did not sleep that night wondering if i been scanned. The next day i checked my e-mail and there was none from them. I waited till the early afternoon and still no mail. I then tryed to call them and found that it was impossible because every voice mail box was filled. I spent most of the day trying but no results. I decided that i was scammed. I found another phone number and someone called back. I told them that i wanted the $257 charge removed off my card as i wanted nothing more to do with this company. He said it would be. I called american express about this company. Its now 2 weeks and they had not put the money back. On monday may 17th i filled out a complaint report on the florida attorney general web page. Is this what i risked my life in combat for these dirtbags. Am i now also out $257 towards my wife grave stone? Please help.
