Going to best buy has for me, turned into a return to the good ole days of "Jim Crow" or the buying while black laws of days gone by!
Sunday June 27 the day I was reintroduced at best buy was a return to what is now a norm for Black Customers (the shopping while black), this treatment is unspoken but enacted upon on blacks as suspected thieves in our actions when entering best buy, a return to the plantation mindset (blacks will always steal something!). This is the now the norm for me and other blacks shopping there. Best buy and other plantation retailers have returned to this ugly disparaging and despicable ways of doing business in my community are quick to claim "They are not being racist" while profiling the black customers, where have I heard that before!?!
I will state my case and personal experience to everyone reading my report! I find this need to victimize blacks, repugnant in the applied objective of separate and unbalanced treatment of black shoppers is never ending (I cannot speak for other so-called minorities here, but you all know from where of I speak). I am a Black American, suspect number#1, as such, I am speaking for Black Americans here
There will be many reading my report/complaint cannot or won't relate to this bias, based on the fact it will not happen to you at this plantation known as best buy. This offensive behavior is reserved for blacks only.
This Sunday started out with one need, not the disrespect of my person or my buying power, was to purchase for my mp3 player a new set of ear-buds. Now to have to defend my skin color (buying while black) I will not or ever except this from any malfeasance d seller in my town, Mount Vernon, My County, Westchester, My state, New York, My Country, The United States of America, or in any part of this planet!) This Gehenna mindset, those at best buy, will subject you to these unspoken and unwritten laws of Jim Crow, will treat you like a suspect while spending money at the plantation are and will always be "Anathema" to me!
After speaking with two salesmen (both being black) I found the that fit my need and was ready to buy, they where in a locked case, no problem with that, they are the ones I want those (bose) ear-buds locked away in the case and I am off to the check out. Little was said to me about the now problem of handing them the ear-buds to me, the buyer!?! Wait a minute now Mr. Suspect black guy, you can feel the wrong of a bad moment no matter your skin color, based on the actions of anyone putting you through this! We won't hand you the product you about to buy!?! Let me explain what is going on between myself and this salesmen, first he unlocked the case removed the ear-buds I wanted and tucked them tightly under his armpit and locked the case back, secondly he now turned from and took off!?! I ask where was he going with my purchase, he said he was on his way to the cash register with the ear-buds, wait a minute, I want to look at the specs on the back of the packaging, he the salesman stood away from while telling I could not do that because "I was not allowed to let you (me the customer) touch or hold the package" while it is in his possession? This salesman (Stephen?) is doing this unspoken black laws action (while he himself is black!)
This action is what the kids call "Putting you on blast" as in bad ex-poser, part of the profiling "Shopping while buying black"
I am now pissed and told him "I will take the ear-buds to the checkout myself (not knowing the policies of best buy, there is no displayed about said policies posted on any wall display or display cases or case (where the ear-buds where located) that notify you, the buyer (me) about said policies!
I want you to experience, if you can, what I was experience at that exact moment, humiliation, everyone in that area stopped what they where doing at the moment and focused right on me, the black guy who maybe in the act thievery! If I was not, then why is the salesman acting that way towards him (me) the thief!?! You can see it ever eye in me now, the non trusting salesman told me "I could not touch" what I wanted to buy, he was to parade me with the strangle hold he now had on the ackage across the floor, not to the check out line, but to the register, to make sure I would not (shopping while black) make a break for the door with the product, as most or all blacks do, Suspected thieves! Are you going to tell me, that was not doing with me?
I am now yelling at him "no you are not going to subject me to this BS!" Are you going to give me what I want to buy or not? No he was not going to give me anything anr refused to put anything in my hand but I will get the contempt, you see the plantation racist mindset is, "don't do or say anthing about this vile conduct against you, don't bring attention to the mistreatment of yourself", it only goes to their claim "if you were not in the act of doing something foul, you would not be having a problem with it, the treatment (buying while black, the jim crow black laws)!
I told him to get his manager, who had come over to the register right in the mp3 area, that was part of my upset, why would you walk me across the store when there is an active working register right there?
No waste of time poring gasoline on this burning cross for the plantation, The salesman Stephen? While I was in the next area over, with the other sales rep explain why my choice was a good to selection of the bose ear-buds, had a white couple come to mp3 area to ring up their purchase at that areas working register. Here is more reasons to write my report, ~Best Buy (In Black and White) The Minority Report~. That couple alone with Stephen the offensive salesmen worked with them, let say for fifteen minutes to clear their credit card with multiple swipes and no go! This brings us to the white floor manager coming over to the mp3 area and started the process of trying like hell to clear that card, that is why I was still there wait for someone to unlock the case. I did not hear him ask them for any other card or form of payment, the couple said no and he the floor manager went back to trying to clear that couples card with several more swipes, myself and now a group of others stood there waiting for service, how many times would I be have at getting my card to swipe without a word of protest from the salemen and floor manager, that couples card is either near death or dead, what no profiling of them? Not a problem at the old platation, it is all a matter of black and white at best buy!
This is what is at the hart of all that matters in the inhuman treatment and deeds buy best buy (in black and white), in the return to the old by-gone ways! Do you think I would be allowed this grace by both of these (misology trained salesmen) at the old plantation? If you believe that I would be, you sadly mistaken! Me who has been judged thief, and was to be perp walked across the floor because of the color of my skin and not the content of my character (buying while black at the plantation). My anger at the (Jim Crow treatment) is boiling, now for the gasoline while yelling for the floor manager to get involved, still trying to clear that couples card, he said wait few more minute on that registers line behind the problem card couple, I ask the black salesmen for the ear-buds and was now being told by both no can do, because of store policy, and he took the ear-buds from the black salesmen and proceeded to make sure I never touched them! I said hand them over or show me the policy! He said they were not written down, I said "Any policy affecting the way I shop at best but has to be displayed or written down where I can see it", he and the black salesman both claimed together, "the store has a policy that any item in a locked case cannot be handled by the buying customer, but only by that store's personal!?!" I am yelling for everyone in the store to hear me, "Show me this in writing!" The white floor manger now tells me no he won't and to "get out of his store!" In response I yelled back at him "Put me out of this damned store in Mount Vernon if think you can!", and I still want to see or get in writing the policy of locked case items!" I want anyone ready this to tell me in response to my report, that you know of said policies or had them presented to you by best buy, or have had an employee of best buy escort you across the store directly to the check out register? I told the white floor manager who now placed the black salesman with the white non-clearing card couple, whose card in still having a near death experience and no one has asked them for the sake of expediency at the mp3 area rigester to come back with another form of payment! The floor manger is trying to walk away form me while still stating "get out of his store" I made it my business to draw as much attention to the both of us by yelling either you personally put me out or get the damn policies in writing to me now, he siad it was not a chain wide policy, but the policy of that store in Mount Vernon, I shot back why because the main body of customers are BLACK!?! He never answered, I told call the Mount Vernon police department maybe you can answer their questions about these (buying while black) unwritten policies of this store in a chain of nationwide stores?
It is not a new thing these black laws, (see ralph Lauren, timberland shoes, eddie bauer and tommy hilfiger), they are to me a very old tired line of bullshit, I am black in America, it is that I won't allow anyone to carry them (segregation-ism acts and deeds) out on or with me, if I can help it. I am still yelling at the white floor manager as we have moved towards the front on the store near geek squard, I ask aloud did you the floormanger personally know the mayor and the party in power in this town, do you know Mayor Clinton Young? Maybe some Democratic Party power brokers in the town of Mount Vernon, Reggie Lafayette, Lynden Williams, Moreen walker and how about Judge Bill Edwards? As all are black, or are these unspoken and unwritten laws are in effect in best buy across all of Westhester county? I believe you are about to make the mistake of a life time, according to you, all are suspect and labeled thieves upon entering your store with the non-displayed buying while black laws, in the locked case areas of that store or is it in effect in all of the plantation stores nationwide?
I cannot change my skin color to suit you or would I be willing! What I can change is you and the "Jim Crow" status quo unknown policies of the plantation and the way you operate here in Mount Vernon! If you are having problems (all in your tiny mind) with my black buying power, then you need to get yourself gone, leave get out while the getting is good, get out of the heavy in number black community of this town and all those towns surrounding this town! ~GOOD RIDDANCE~ Safe-mart, Wal-mart, K-mart cannot wait to replace you, bye-bye, don't let my foot hit you in the ass on the way out town!
I am still yelling this at you best buy as I did your auk employees (and the black ones to dim not see that they are subjected to these same Jim Crow laws while on that job!) to show me these policies of the locked case in the stores code of conduct with customers as the facts in evidence!
These is what you have became, not hardly, this how you have always conducted your type of business, different and unequal rules for the black clientele and the Jim Crow Black unknown Laws go! If you think I would allow your racist behavior to be applied to me "buying while black", you must have lost your or been out in the sun to damn long (it was hot June 27, that day!) You would think someone in the act of profiling, would have ask of me, do you even shop here? Then you would have found out I have prior customer points account, would that have change your mind about your actions, I sincerely doubt it! It will never be about buying character but my profiled skin (we don't have to no prove it, but we know you will make a break for the door with our ear-buds!)
Back at the hot spot (me and the walking away white manager) this floor manager went into the geek squad area, and low and behold out from the back area of geek squad comes a supposedly imtimidating black employee, with the named Joe on his shirt, who is now glaring at me, he starts up Sir! Wow now it is sir? That is the first time I have heard it, you have to keep it down and leave the store, I replied "Fat Joe" if you are as of right now, did not come to defend this unwritten unknown policies you need to take your big doughnut eating ass and keep it movin! (I will defend the plantation with my life, yeah right!) Again for everyone involved call my police department, I say this because I served on the Mount Vernon police advisory Board for three years a few years ago, the last time on that board I was the Sgt at arms for those meetings. The present police chief attended a number of the Southwest Side Civic Associations meetings that I co-chair with my wife. Fat Joe is still being a girl, and running his mouth from a distance! His problem is that of this chain, you need to keep it down, we can profile you, but you cannot bring attention to this offensive and racist act!
The Mount Vernon Police did arrive (there was another officer located in the back of the store) whom they, best buy, did not notify? There is another bit player in this oracularly story! A guy standing off to my right, dressed in blue jeans and green polo shirt, he is black, spoke up as the police did get there and stated he was the stores Manager of record!?! Remeber fat "doughnut" Joe? He is now back doing a pygmy dance while still saying nothing of merit and getting loud with it, you wounder why? Now this new blackman (the store manger) to the story, is barking at fat "doughnut Joe to bring it down, the police are here! There are four officers now present and the one from the store asked me what was the problem, I explained all to them and the store manager now asked me is there something he can do for me, in asking that question he also said he happen to come into the store on his day off, damn all this time you are in the store standing off in the distance and never tried to address the suspects issue! Lower and lower we desend. One cop who heard my complaint ask of this manager are these policies in writing anywhere in that store, the manager said there was none!? All four officers who where facing me, not seeing each other rolled the eyes back in their heads, one even looked around the store's walls to see if there was anything he could point out for me, not a damn posting anywhere on any wall or display case, he even asked the manger was these policies online, NADA! The manager went so far as to explain away the old racist nugget, "There has been a number thief's at that store" and i shot back at him, "I don't give a damn about it and could careless, what does that have to do with me", and oh yes only black people steal from the store and does that fact include the black employees only?
The manager gave me that look, you all know the look, and proceeded to ask again, is there anything he could do for at that store, seeing that he was already a tight ass, I could have asked him to stuff that store, and the many others of the plantation, as far up his ass as he could get it!
I did want something he could get for me, have the two offending employees to come over with hat in hand and bad racist attitudes put aside and apologize he took offense to that idea and went into a disproving matter of fact reply about his condottiere employees would not and I quote him here, "His employees would not be put through the embarrassment of this apology on the stores floor in front of their co-workers" to the person they offended with their libelous racist behavior inside a store filled with strangers to my person and station in my town!?!
Defamatory acts such as these are not going to be forgiven by me, make ready war is to come. Speaking of this was what about the two wars America is fighting, do you have these cracker bob feelings about returning black war veterans? Are they going to be treated as all black people going into best buy, will be subjected to the "buying while black" plantation mindset locked in place at best buy? What about the upand coming youg politicos such as Sammy Rivers who is of Mount Vernon or a friend named Sammy Zherka who thinks he is black! While having any conversation with Sam Zherka he stats that conversation with "hello brother!" you think your problem with me is going and will be going bad, your plantation would be forfit on the spot with Sammy Zhaerka, he being the owner of the Westchester Guardian!
You where caught in the act of racial profiling, again the Mount Vernon police officers did ask that store manager for any written proof of your "Black while buying laws", and you had none to provide! You should quit Mount vernon. There where places and people in time, that you would in your actions, bring a tear to their eyes, Hitler in Germany in 9128, Johannesburg South Africa in the early days of the past decade, and we cannot forget David Dukes! We here in Mount Vernon will be rid of you and those of your kind, the insititutionalized systemic corporate thuggery of the plantation know as best buy!
You think I don't know who you are!? You of the proven pernicious corporate welfare maldistribution cheating that allowed you here, begging tax breaks? You with your malodorous employment practices, you have never paid or pulled your own freight in this town, how about your insufferable habit of not paying a living wage to those who endure the drudgery of your employment? How about real full time employment, not unless they are ready to give it all back in lost vacation time, underwhelming overtime and what about the nonexistent health benefits!? What about your reproach for any employee who cannot enact upon the black laws at best buy? You need to be gone, you will not be missed, you and your pointed racism and the sinecure workers who carry out these vile acts with glee!
I know you are a reflection of today's America, with it's infamous grotesquerie protect of anything put forth by the Black American president! Why shouldn't you be any different? A congressmen yelling that the president is a liar when addressing the nation, another one down on his knees fixing it for BP before the world and national press, way to blow Joe (it's only oil) Barton! You the plantation with your skinhead mindset, maybe that is who is working inside your ivory toilet you call headquarters!? I know Mel Gibson is that type of preferred customer of your liking, but it won't happen that way in Mount Vernon, N, Y.
I went to P.C. Richards on central park ave in Yonkers and obtained the ear-buds of choice, the sales rep behind the counter not only gave the package over for inspection, allowing me the grace time to read over the specs on the packaging, he did it without the subjugation of me as suspected theif! Mount vernon there is a lession in that action of going to Yonkers to make my puchase, it is this, the lost of taxable revenue!
As I was leaving best buy, known now from my report "as the plantation", the Mount Vernon police officers again asked of me, what did I wanted done in the store while they where there showing balance in the performance of their appointed duty (to protect and serve), again there is not a damn thing I wanted from that store after all the wrongs done to me that day, three of them stated they would have been pissed off by the actions taken by best buy and shook my hand on the way out the door.
In concluding my report, I applaud all Jews everywhere, they don't allow any exception when flushing out and ridding themselves of any Nazi minded Nimrod, for you best buy and your Gilgamesh ways of doing business with your black clients, I scream at you with blood in my eyes "Never Again!"
