I was looking on line for a teacup yorkie puppy in NC and found a "Breeder" who advertised themselves as NC residents. The site was Adpost.com only an email listed to contact them. The person to contact was [email protected]. I contacted this person by email inquiring about the puppy and I later received an email from Ray and Joanne Torres Scott. The email was very formal and had photos of puppies for "me to choose from. The first email said "

We do secure payments and only get paid in full when you have the puppy delivered to your home having made sure all is OK and you not loosing your money or take half payment upfront for delivery and the rest of it when you have the puppy delivered making sure everything is alright.

At this point I sent an email asking general questions about the puppy and received an email back at 4:30 am that was one line said let us know what puppy you want. Then I received this email "
Hello
Jane is still available & will be the perfect addition to your family, she is 11weeks old & currently weighing 1lbs, well potty & house trained. We pay to have our adverts placed on the website which is the reason you found it on your area, but then we will do shipping and delivery from Bahamas of which we do secure payments and only get paid in full when you have the puppy delivered to you making sure everything is alright and you not loosing your money or we take half payment and the other half upon arrival of the puppy. It is a total cost of $250 including shipping and delivery for Jane as shipping within the USA is free excluding Hawaii. The payment is going directly to our head breeder's agency which is the reason we will be doing a full secured payment with Western Union as we will consider you sending out the $250 with Western Union & when sending that you include a security test password and answer and will also be given a money transfer control number (MTCN) these details are required to access payment, but then you will only be giving us your sender's names, so we can verify that you have the payment placed in, have the delivery papers being approved then do with shipping and once delivery is being done you receive the puppy making sure everything is alright before you release the full payment details for us to get the payment, that way you are very assured of receiving your puppy and not loosing your money or you pay $125 upfront we do shipping and the other half when the puppy gets to you depending on which you prefer. So I became skeptical and sent an email that I felt like this was a scam. They sent me an email said the Puppy was sold!
