I was contacted and told I had been approved for a $5000 loan. They faxed the information to me to complete and send back to them. I would need to provide them with 5 months payments upfront to the tune of 812.95. This could be wired or a check sent either way the $5000 would go in my bank account immediately upon confirmation that the wire was verified or the check confirmed as a valid account. I was skeptical, so David Levine, mr smooth talker, explained how I could send it to a relative or a friend and that way they could verify, but until I changed the name of the person no one could claim the money. This sounded pretty valid, so I did it. Well felt weird and kept checking bank account after I was contacted by Mike and told that the money had been verified and the transfer was being done. I checked the transfer at western union and it still showed ready for pickup, so I felt a little better. But got a funny feeling and checked it again around 11:15 and found it had been picked up. NO WAY!!! HOW? Called Western union and according to them a call came in from MY PHONE and told them to move the pick up location to Canada. I didn't make that call!!! On top of that, he informed me that these people were really clever and they would have just made a fake id to claim the money. They would prepare a police report that my local police department could request. I asked for a copy of the report to be sent to me and it was denied, since they had people request information on companies all the time and they don't want to give out the information to the wrong person, but low and behold, create a fake ID and you can get wires from western union NO PROBLEM. I think Western Union needs to be held accountable for the transactions. They charge an arm and a leg for an immediate transaction and then they release money to ANYONE showing an ID for a person, but can't release a police report information to the person scammed. GET REAL!!! So, will attempt to call this place tomorrow and see what happens. Got my ideas, NOTHING! I am just out the last $880 I had in hopes of help. WOW!!! What has this world come to??
