I entered a video contest that the company "$49.95 Any Sewer or Drain" held to find a new Spokesperson.
After the contest ended, I received a email telling me that I had won the contest and for me to email them all my personal information so I can receive the $1000 prize.
Of course, I was extremely excited about the $1000 prize that I had won and sent my information to them quickly. A few days later I received another email from "$49.95 Any Sewer or Drain". This email was in a completely different tone and a bit rude. They wrote in this email that I had now not won the contest because they had only received one entry (mine) so the contest was canceled for that month and that their first message about me winning was a mistake. To go from thinking I had won $1000 to not winning is quite devastating. I never even received an apology for their mistake. This was back in November. The company then told me that they would hold another Spokesperson contest in December and my video would be entered. It is now February and they never held another Spokesperson contest. I have emailed them numerous times and never get a reply.
