The Atherton Turf Club at Tolga is doing itself no favour by having unhygienic food served and sold to an unsuspecting public by a group of volunteers, I think a Lions Club, who have no concept of food hygiene. The kitchen is visibly dirty and fly-blown. The kitchen is situated very near to the stables and all that tempting fly bait, horse manure. Not only does this crew of food handlers put up fly-paper from the ceiling, but I have seen them use fly spray, a poison, near and around uncovered food. I know of a few people who have suffered food poisoning, but they wont complain because the profits of this group allegedly go to local charities. This is not a good place to eat. The Atherton Turf Club would be better off for the sake of a reputation closing the kitchen down.
