Going to Studio D Architecture is the worst mistake I have ever made!!! I was warned by several others not to go to Studio D, but I did anyway. To this day, I will never forgive myself for making one of the worst decisions of my construction career.
First, the so called Architect, Chris Dasse, was never in the office. I spent much of my time speaking with one of his two employees. This is a pay to stamp architect at its best. Then, when he is in the office, he would interrupt my conversation with his employees and try to belittle my ideas. Is that how you treat your clients? Then, he would scream and swear at me, the client!!!
Second, he has filed a lien against one of his clients for no money, just to get even with a client. For what? They did not agree with you? He does not realize that the word gets out to all builders and they will not recommend others to use his services.
Third, his off-the-cuff remarks against Irish and African American people were offensive. I could not believe that he would talk with a client in this manor. I have worked on multiple construction sites and have never heard the foul language that came out of his mouth. Maybe this is why he is not in the office.
Lastly, he has sent his father to spy on clients (including myself), pretend to be a city employee to steal drawings to try to "catch" the client in the act of what he delusionally thinks is a conspiracy against him.
After spending much time at Studio D with the employees, I see why Studio D is loosing business. I cannot see how Chris Dasse will be in business for long, especially since his means of communication is through his attorney.
Please do not make the same mistake I did!!!
