I have been called about 12 times in the last 2 weeks by a Richard Westbrook. He asks for my daughter by her former name and asks to speak to her. When I tell him that she has not resided here since 2000 he asks me for her current phone number. When I ask why he needs to speak to her he responds with "It's a personal matter". I have refused to give him her phone number. He attempts to sound businesslike but yet firm. He gives me the impression that he is a debt collector. My daughter has NEVER been to the state of Virginia, all her bills are up to date and even ahead a bit.
1. I do not believe that they have the right to harrass me, an uninterested 3rd party in order to acquire information.
2. I do not believe that they have the right to call after 6PM for any debtr collection purposes.
3. I do not believe that they have the right to continue to call me repeatedly once they have dtermined that my daughter no longer lives with me.
4, I believe that they do NOT have the right to ask ME to call my daughter in order to have HER contact them. I believe that if I am going to do their work for them then I am entitled to compensation for my time and expense.
Thank you,
Edward J. Belange
