I was contacted by this company after I answered an add on craigslist. The girl who called spoke so fast I had to ask her to slow down. (Typical scam technique)
As a few of the other post stated there was no sign on the door or pictures on the wall, ect. No business cards as well. Also, my interview appointment was for 10:00 am. I was there early and by the time it was 10:00 the whole room was full of applicants. This in itself put up a large red flag for me. No reputable company schedules 10 to 15 people at one time for an interview.
I went to speak to the manager who had numerous face piercings. I'm not a prude, but this seemed odd to me. He also said that they would be making a decision on who to bring in for a second interview Thursday, this was Tuesday. Then he asked me to call at 3:00 that afternoon to see if I had been chosen. That was also a contradition. They can't even keep the lies straight.
3:00 came and passed and I did not call, as I figured something wasn't right by this point. At 4:00 he called me. I agreed to call the next day to confirm if I ws interested.in the mean trime I searched the internet and could not find anything. The next day I called and told him that I didn't think his company was right for me and also told him I could not find this company on line and asked him how long they had been in the area."14 Years" he told me. The phone number nor the address matched up.
I told a friend about all this and she did some research on her own since she had spoken to another person who went in for an interview (at another location). YTou see they had already moved to alude detection. She sent me the link to this website and I can't believe this crap. I am so glad I listened to the little warning voice in my head!
The money offered was in the same range reported on this sight. There are so many similarities that I won't go into all of them.
Just for my own piece of mind, I tried calling the number they gave me before today. That's right! Disconnected. We need to stop these people! Or scum, if you will.
Oh yeah, I even contac ted the BBB. Everyone should.
