Pro Marketing Group in New York is a fake management company that is corrupt in every way. Here's my story:
I was interviewed for a job there recently (the job was as a door to door salesman). The "interview" was conducted with over 20 people, each one getting about 5 minutes of time. Almost everyone was then invited back to the office the next week. No one was rejected.
They paid only by commission. The job involved going from door to door selling contracts for an energy supplier called Direct Energy. During this time, my supervisor made racial remarks against me as a "joke". This is completely inappropriate in the workplace. Furthermore, they spent most of their time in the office "training" us in how much we could make if we worked there for long enough. There was very little business training going on, aside from simple tricks on how to deceive customers.
To top it off, after I sold two contracts, I did not get paid a dime. My supervisor somehow managed to keep the money for himself. When I called to ask them about this, they laughed at me and hung up.
Bottom line is, stay away from Pro Marketing Group.
