I paid a young man for magazines and then mail a check to the compnay

On 02/24 i was approached by two young juveniles in which time they informed me that they were selling magazines to raised money to open a small bussiness. They both had i.D. Cards displaying the name flord agency. I ordered a one year subcription of looney tunes. I paid $15.00 cash and they gave me a pink receipt. A few weeks later i received a letter from flord angency requesting the balace due of $15.00 with instructions to make the check payable to independent contractor's service. I mailed the check and when i check with my bank they had cashed the check. To this date i have not received any magazines. I tried to find a phone number for this company and have not being able to find nothing, not even a physical address.
