My husband and I are very disappointed that your company thought it was necessary to mess with a good thing—your all beef franks. We stopped buying any other brand of hot dogs a long time ago, at least 20 years. We never even blinked at paying more for them, because they were that much better than any other brand out there. But now, for some reason, you have entered the no-man's land of, "If it's not broken, don't fix it." Coke made that same mistake some years ago, and then had to back track and remarket their tried and true product to their loyal customers under the new name, Coke Classic. Your new recipe for your all beef franks is just that-new... But definitely not improved. The skin is tough and as one reviewer I read suggested, "disgusting." We have cut way back on eating hot dogs, because the old recipe ruined us for any other brand, but now what do we do? The upside is we're probably much healthier, but who wants to live forever, especially without our favorite hot dogs smothered in our favorite homemade coney sauce? A rose by any other name may still be a rose, but an Oscar Mayer beef frank by the same name is definitely not the same Oscar Mayer beef frank! Please consider returning to the old recipe or coming out with the old recipe with a new name like Oscar Mayer Beef Frank Classics. It worked for Coke, it will definitely work for you!
