Debited my bank accnt. Without my knowledge

I was checking out check loans on the internet and my bank accnt. Was hit w a $33.98 charge for an i d theft service I did not sign up for, and I do not want. After checking complaints on this company, I think that this company should be investigated by the Attorney General.
