I was amazed to see a $89.95 charge on my April American Express bill for something that I had never bought and never did receive. I immediately got online and did a dispute about the charge and a temporary credit was given and apending an investigation. However, on Saturday, 5/8, I received a letter from AMEX that they had investigated and could not give me the credit because the attached document from MK Supplements confirmed that the charge was correct.
I was so mad that I immediately called AMEX and reiterated that this was a fraudulent charge and I demanded a credit. I told that I had never ordered anything from the company and I never did received anything. I was assured that another investigation would be made and once again a temporary credit given. I then called the MK Supplements given on their document and was immediately suspicious because they was no option to speak to a live person. I therefore left my name and number and requested a return call.
On Monday, 5/11, I decided to call AMEX again because of all the negative information I saw about MK Supplments on the internet. Several other persons had been scammed by the company and I mentiond this to the AMEX representative This time, howver, the dispute was processed by the fraud departmetn whereas the prior two disputes were processsed by customer service. I was assured the the AMEX fraud representative that they would do an extensive investigation and check to see if there were any other fraud charges processed against MK Supplements.
I read online that this company has been in a lot of trouble because they are a renown spammer. I don't know how they got my icredit card information but I do know that I am not paying for something I did not order. What is strange though is that me and the other persons were all scammed through our AMEX cards so I don't know if this a coincidence or what.
