I have mailed all my payment to HSBC for a motorcycle I purchased and finanzed through Suzuki. For months everything was fine, then my on-line payment was 1 day late, due on the 26th they received it on the 27th and
charged me a $39.00 late fee. I called and disbuted the late charge and continued paying my original payment plus extra. Now HSBC has reported me to all credit companies as a one time 30 day late, which caused my credit score to drop. I did have perfect credit. I was never 30 days late and have all documentation from my bank and statements but HSBC refuses to correct this. I have filled a complaint with the BBB in IL and NC and sent a letter to HSBC and Suzuki. Suzuki said they show no late payments and would write HSBC but it probably would not do any good. I am writing the President and VP and BOT at HSBC and the attorney general. I will not have a 30 day late on my credit report when I was NOT late. The company is doing this to make extra money and it is a scam. If anyone has a resolution to this problem please post it.
