I was shocked when I read some of the other reports. I googled Barbizon to see what information I could find out about the company. I wish I would of googled them before I wasted my time and money. My daughter and I attended the presentation and she too was "choosen".
I paid in full $1890.00 with my credit card on January 12. They promised I could ask for a refund within 3 days of the contract. When I got home and had a family disscussion with my husband, daughter and I we had decided to postpone the classes until she can drive herself to the classes. We live about 40 minutes from town.
I wrote and faxted a letter of cancellation on January 13.1 day after I paid. I even called to let them know I wanted a refund. My credit card was not posted yet. They charged my credit card on January 14 two days after the seminar!
I have called numerous times and talked to Josi who was very rude and said I needed to talk to Scott (who is never available). I asked to speak to her manager or the lady Diana that did the presentaion and they are never available.
I did put in a dispute with my credit card company. I will let you know how that goes. I want to thank the Rip off report for having this site available to other victims and hopefully warn future victims to think twice before paying Barbizon.
