Thomas Norris, Sr. Has been working on my car and children's cars for over 7 years. He has always proven to be a good mechanic, someone you can depend on. But guess what that was years ago.
Because of today, March 18 he is a thief. On Saturday, March 15, I met my daughter at his house to drop off her 2001 White Grand AM License #D02IGD at 9:00 A.M. He suppose to change the brakes, rotate the rotors and rotate the tires. My daughter paid for the parks and service and he was to have the car ready by 1:00 P.M.
We called him about 2:00 P.M., to see if the car was ready, but his mother said that she hadn't seen him since that morning when he left to get the parts. We waited and waited never to hear anything from him.
Today is March 18th and we still haven't heard from Thomas. Not only did he take my daughter's money, he stole the car and now the car is being seen driven my drug dealers. He stole the car to get drugs.
The worst part is according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office the laws have changed regarding stolen cars. We can't report the car stolen because the keys were given to the mechanic for repair. And as far as they know, he could still be working on the car.
However, we haven't heard a word from Thomas. It's not about the money. We want the car back.
We trusted our property into the hands of someone we thought was trustworthy, only to find out he's a criminal and has been doing this to several customers. But he's never done anything like this to us.
Now I will never trust a side mechanic to do any work for me. I'd rather pay the dealer.
It's makes me angry that someone takes your property and distribute to whomever without your permission. Something you work hard for and someone comes and take it over night.
It's almost impossible to trust anyone. So if you ever need mechanic work done never, ever, ever, ever trust Thomas Norris, Sr. At 8207 White Plains Road, Jacksonville, Fl to do any work on your car or you'll be sorry!!!
