I have been renting my condo out for the past year and I ran into a problem with this German literally on 1/1/09. Talk about a great way to start the new year.
He signed a lease with me in September. He's been living in my condo since.in September, my building raised the common charges significantly - around 30% - and so I notified him that I would have to raise the rent. Since I like having a long term tenant, he asked me whether he could have a discount and I offered him a discount and he agreed that he would extend the lease for a year. On 1/4/09, Thomas Zeumer, the German, leaves me a voice mail notifying me that he wanted to break the contract because of 'toilet problems.' Yes.'Toilet problems!' He has been living there for over year, and in the past 3 months since he agreed to the new lease, he did not mention a single problem with the toilet. New Years toilet problem? He flew back to Germany the next day without paying the rent.
Thomas Zeumer is not honorable businessmen. He is not a man of his word, and he doesn't do business the American way. He believes because he is not American, the rules don't apply to him in America. That's how he behaves.

Know people who write their own wikipedia profiles? Well, that's him. He even has a fake wikipedia entry where he claims to be 'a successful entrepreneur' who 'is best known for developing top models Heidi Klum, Claudia Schiffer, and Eva Herzigova.' Right! That's why they booted you back to Europe where you trick potential 'models' with your fake 'Metropolitan Models' agency. Next time you write your own wikipedia entry under the username 'FC Fox, ' try to cite some real references, and don't make it so obvious by white washing comment thats like 'this man is so not cool' from your own wikipedia profile. The only true piece of information is that he swindled his modeling clients out of their commissions and was found guilty in a class action lawsuit by the New York Supreme Court.
