Mr. Johnson uses the facade of being a retired USMC colonel who has won the Silver Star and Bronze Star in Iraq combat which has been proven to be entirely untrue. He boasts that he is second in his graduating class in Anapolis, which is also untrue. Both assertions place him into the category of a federal offender under the Stolen Valor Act of 2005.

Johnson's pretenses and mythical business schemes have elicited large sums of money from unsuspecting, sympathetic people and he has no other visible means of support. He moves frequently and has prior residences in Madison WI, Hauser ID, Missoula MT, Meridian ID, Twin Falls ID, Milwaukee WI, Sun Prarie WI, Janesville, MN, Willmar, MN, Fallon, NV, Eagle Lake, MN, Lake Crystal, MN and Grant, NM.

Any business or financial relationships with Johnson should be very carefully guarded or avoided entirely.
