When I received the first bill on my credit card, there were two charges for "Dealmax". Each for $9.95, one on November 6, and the other on November 8. I called the 800 number and they said I had filled out information for a $25.00 Target card. NOT!
So, I called the credit card bank to report fraudulent charges. I received a reply stating "We have received information from the merchant, DEALMAX762903758, indicating your name and address were verified at the time the charges were made. Based on this information, we determined you are responsible for the charges and have re-billed your account."
They obviously did not do too much research on the matter. I did cancel that credit card, called DEALMAX and canceled with them. I never got the Target card I supposedly sent for.
After reading some of the other people stories who have been riped off by DEALMAX, I am going to call the bank that gave me the credit card and tell them about the 42 consumer complaints on this website.
