I wanted to buy a Garmin Nuvi 880. While comparison shopping on line I found the lowest price at Technon Digital. I called to speak to a salesman several time to ask questions regarding availability, why/how this product differed from other Garmin Nuvi 880 units because of the low price, shipping, etc. My questions were answered to my satisfaction and I placed the order on line. I was called with the excuse of a "check due to many recent fraudulent credit card purchases". The man who called didn't ask anything about my credit card. He did, however, ask if I would like to buy the memory card to go with the GPS unit. I told him I did not. He tried a hard sell tactic saying I needed it to use the unit. I already spoke to Garmin and knew I didn't need this memory card. Again, I refused. He then said it would take 3 to 4 weeks to process my order. I told him I spoke to someone earlier who told me the unit was in stock and would be shipped for Christmas delivery. This man said no, it won't "come from Japan until at least 3 -4 weeks". I cancelled the order, he said okay, good. Exactly what he wanted to hear! I relearned a lesson, if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is!
