I discovered a $39.95 charge from AskCS VI on my debit card for services that I did not authorize or receive benefit from. Someone has fraudulently obtained my debit card information and purchased services from this merchant.
I called the phone number on my bank statement and it is a voice recording stating that "TV Dream" is unable to take my call. I have left messages and there has been no return follow up from this company.
From what little I could find out about this company it appears to be a facilitaor of adult content web viewing. Apparently the thief who used my debit card information to sign up was issued an exclusive user ID and password by AskCS in order to view smut via Internet! I am appalled and have asked my bank to dispute the charge.in addition, I have also requested a stop payment be put in place in case AskCS tries to debit my account again since I have found that this is a subscription service that bills monthly.
I feel very sorry for any other victims out there who are being taken advantage of because of this fraud, myself included. Please post any additional information you have on this company.
