I pretty much received this letter in the mail for NetSurvey and Marketing Inc located in Houston Texas with a Po Box. It is says it is from Mystery Shopping, Customer Surveys, Full Service Market Research and Consulting.
You are given instructions to work part time and if you pass your probationary assignment you will be paid 750.00 a week. Prior to that in your training phase you are paid 600.00 a week. A check is accompanied in the envelope in the amount of 3815.00 You are to call Mr. Charles Lakewood at 514-575-8659 to confirm the receipt of the check and your instructions. The strange thing is that this envelope is from Canada yet you are told to call a number that is not in Houston although it says it is.
After looking up this company on consumer complaints I discovered someone had already went as so far as to call them and they discovered in fact this was a scam. My advice is to rip it in half and toss it. Like the other report advised, If it looks to good to be true, it is. File 13.
