Classifed add stated they were hiring 25 inspector in my area then changed to 4 and charged $89for a backgroud check that most companies charge $8

The only advertising this company did in my area was a classified add stating they were hiring 25 field inspectors. Their first requirement was a background check for $89. They later reduced the inspector from 25 to 4.
Later I discovered that (SOFI) The Society of Field Inspectors had issued a scam warning stating that a back ground check normaly cost from $8 to $10.
It appears that this company may have charged 1000's $89 for a $10 check, and covered their tail by offering Sub-Contractor Inspectors states, providing
they obtained a $2000.00 annual E & O insurance.
I'm not sure anyone should do business with this company.
