Forclosure Bank Inspection Co. - National Property Inspections
Forclosure bank inspection co.in association with national property inspections professional scamed by a con artist, florida, north carolina & pennsylvania

Responding to an ad for Home Inspectors documented damages existing at homes that banks have foreclosed upon appeared to be a perfect fit with my background. I had just left an extension carrer Real Estate field several months ago and was looking for something in the related services.

Having been part of many professional home inspections, negotiated repairs and understanding the cost and implications of such repairs with some threatening the very foundation of the home made this inspector position very attractive to my experiences.

This company FORECLOSUREBANKINSPECTIONCO. Said they would do a crimianl background check on me for $89.00 and sent along a packet for me to review and fill out. It consisted of inspection test materials, questions on hours one is availible to work, a detailed essay format of race related situations that one may find themselves in and how you would handle them some of which where rather extreme with children calling you racist names. I found this to be a little unsetting since it assumed that race was such a high tension issue and after growing up in the city and mixing with all kinds of people for over 40 years in Real Estate none of these high tension scenarios have ever happened.

Anyway, completed the paperwork and send it back within one day of receipt and within 10 -12 days you would be an inspector or a subcontractor.inspectors work directly under the company with leads for inspections provided and pay a share of your income to the company for using their name while sub-contractors following some general guide lines from the co. But put you out on your own to drum up business and pay a share to the company.

The test, questions, background check, application and employibility forms were all easy and I responded within one day even enclosing a cover summary letter with content and professional skills background.

After not hearing anything for 14 days I called the numbers listed and by the fifth number spoke with some kind of processing answering service who wanted my name and address. Well I thought this strange since they had all of my information to review my scores and contact me but I was concerned since they wanted a fax or e-mail address and had not provideing space on their forms for such.

Well the person on the other end just said that the scoring dept. Was in a different area and she needed to know who she was speaking to so they could get the Inspector/Sub-Contractor job approvals out in the mail.
Rather strange it was since it souded like she was going to write a letter and mail it just to get me some answer and really not have anyone look over the 30 or so pages i filled out and returned.

Sure enough within four days from Michigan to Florda I received a letter that said I only qualified to be a Sub-contractor and go out and find 2-3 inspections which sounded just like the inspector inspections and even charged the same amount of $250.00 with $35.00 going to the company for using their name. Oh, no invoices provided and no forms to download onto your computer and no e-mail addresses to send copies of the reports.

Summary, pay them $89.00 for a background check when they never asked for your SS# nor had you sign a release.
Send you a large package with applications and test but with the majority of the package containing information on how to become an foreclosure investor. When i question why most of this application/test package had basically a course in being an investor the person at the other end did not know.

For that matter no one seems to know what they are doing at this company other than collect $89.00 and not show you the results and fail you as an inspector removing their obligation to provide leads and then send you out on your own as a Sub-Contactor doing the same Inspector inspections and charging the same $250.00 and paying FORECLOSUREBANKINSPECTIONCO $35.00.

They will not provide me with my scores nor my background report and they say only the top 16% make the Inspector. I submit with 40 years of Real Estate tranactions, Bank Property sales, Foreclosures, Short Sales, Investor Clients, Residential and Commercial Inspections, Owning Two Reat Estate Offices and having an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Graduate work in Marketing and Finance... There is no way I failed the grade of Inspector.

This company is bogus and Fruadulant and i will forward this story to the Attorney General in Michigan and to the Internet Division of the F.B.I.
