I responded to an add for a free trial tooth whitening kit and all I had to do was pay shipping of $4.99. I received the kit with my crest toothpaste and toothbrush and used the product.
I did not see anywhere in the fine print that I was signing up for a subscription. I received the product 3 weeks ago and have received nothing from the company since. No invoice, no email notification simply a charge on my bank statement for 88.97.
When I finally got through to the company with the number on the website, I was disconnected twice. When I did talk to a gentleman, I was informed that I had signed up for a subscription. A subscription for nothing. I was not going to receive any more products, they were simply going to continue withdrawing money from my account.
No where on the site did I see any information about a subscription or further charges beyond the shipping fee. Plus, the tooth whitening product did not work.
