Claimed i was a winner of a 2008 sweepstakes draw and sent me a check to "cover" administrative taxes and clearance fees

We are please to inform you through this letter that our network shows you as the lucky winner of an unclaimed price money in the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars (100,000.00) in United States Funds. The system indicates that your name was randomly selected through a computerized ballot system as a winner for the SECOND QUARTER of 2008 Sweepstake draw. Congratulations!!! (Notice the word "Congratulations" ends the paragraph and doesn't open it)

All participants were selected through a computerized ballot system drawn from Reader's Digest, Publishers Clearing House, Online Sweepstakes, Internet Games etc...

Enclosed, is a check for ($3,989.00) which covers both the 3.6% administrative taxes and Clearance fees of your winnings. For authorization and activation of this check, please contact your agent Sean Peter or Susane Robinson immediately at Tel: 1-416-824-2293 (no period at the end of sentence) Your winnings not (not, instead of no) later than September, 25 2008 (notice where the comma is placed).

Your name is attached to claim Number US/CA/ZDS44-00G. We advise, you keep your claim number confidentially secure until your claim is processed and Funds remitted, as this is part of our security protocol.

There are misspelled words, and I tried calling the number and no one picked up. I didn't know what the person was saying on their answering machine and it was only about 1 second without even stated the company, name, hours, or anything! It's a scam and the check looks real but doesn't feel real and the back of the check is weird too. It doesn't look like a regular check. And it's funny because I moved out of the address 2 months ago and they sent it to my old address instead of to my new one. Please be careful of these things and God bless...
