Hello please do not go to Luxury Motors they are complete thieves... I purchased a BMW 740IL Sport 2001 from them at the Orland Park facility. I purchased the car at the around the right price coming from data gathered on the web. The car drove great no problems except the glove compartment box would not open which I had the sales person sign a document stating they would fix also the hood latch toward the end become a minor issue but was fixed ASAP. I signed off on the car and purchased extended warranty thru their socalled preferred vendor easy care warranty.
I had the car for a week and no issues until it started to rain I noticed the back rear passenger seat was wet. I looked close and the leak was coming from the upside of the door I took the car to a friend shop and they removed the paneling discovered the car was wrecked previously worse the car showed that it was delivered from SPain to the US in FL with 100 miles in 2001 then around a month later the cars shows it had 53000 miles this was a month after the the delivery from the factory. I couldnt believe this I called the dealer they wouldnt answer me then I had a strange problem with the suspension acting funny.
I took the car to Bill Jacobs BMW in naperville thinking the warranty would cover issues I had with the suspension to my dismay the guy gives me a quote a BMW tells me the car requieres at least 4500 DOLLARS in repair due to previous accident and then the warranty is not VALID.
I called Luxury went then personally and was treated like a complete idiot they would tell me talk to the original sales person who was no longer there or wouldnt asnwer voice mail I called spoke with a manager and he told me the warranty wasnt submitted I called easy care they said no way that they would give me warranty nor was my contract valid. I was out of luck car had a leak from the back, bad suspension and no active warranty short time later the car would over heat I replaced the radiator and other components to have the car only stop over heating for a week or so then was back to the same unable to drive so many issues and out a large sum. Lost out on the car lost on the warranty no refunds and paid those thieves for a complete lemon had to take the car to the only dealer that could even take it from me to only have the car sent to the auction block had to take a default on over 15,000k. BEWARE~!
