FROM THE ATLANTA BBB: Red Flag: An employer asks for money upfront
Aside from paying for a uniform, it is rarely advisable for an applicant to pay upfront fees or make a required purchase to get a job. Most recently, the BBB of Metropolitan Dallas uncovered a scam where job hunters were told they had to pay $64.50 for a background check before they could be considered for a cleaning job. Predictably, after paying for the background check, the job seeker never heard from the company again.
SURPRISE. These folks who ran their scam in Dallas TX now have expanded to New York and Atlanta. Their many names: NCC Restoration (aka: National Commercial Cleaning, Sendora Security, Janovsky & Associatesand First American Scan)

Nilda drove all night from Texas to open the Atlanta office on June 18th. Shes now doing interviews and charging for background checks. She gets to keep the $ that she collects from the background check fee and then Antonio gets to keep the personal information and steal that persons identity later. They run ads for floor techs/detailers. She doesnt tell candidates the name of the company, so they cant search the names on the internet.
The Dallas Address (3030 LBJ Freeway, Dallas) was shut down on the last day of June, never having paid a cent in rent. That office was also run by Nilda Soto.
Tony/Anthony/Giovanni/Antonio Silliano (Also uses the name Giovanni as his last name) is running the same scam in New York, hes officed at 80 Broad St., 5th floor in Manhattan. Tony's wife April McKenzie Silliano is most likely setting up an office in Austin TX.
