Im so special and have unique traits that a "society" is interested in give me secrets

I had received an 8 page letter with a lot of info about a secret society that every 7 years choose people to be a new member.
From where they get my address, I dont know; but promise to me a big secret to win and get everything I had dreamed. I am skeptical to on this. Dont you? Why someone will give you something for nothing? And for what reason?
