We have been to the US twice and found the American people were very nice and especially helpful when we continually got lost, despite hearing on our media Australia had an 30 year low in their opinion of America, unfortunately people like Jeff Jarvis cause the American people in general to be painted with the same tarnished brush.
Jeff worked for or owned Truck accessory outlet of which has now disappeared, I purchased a set of leather seats for my 1982 F350 because we simply can't buy them here, while talking to Jeff he came across very nice as the Americans we dealt with in the past have I explained I've been to America a couple of times and we got talking about the cost of freight.
We were looking at buying some other things and also I had a friend who was wanting a flexible fuel cell again we can't buy them made the way they're made in the US, Jeff suggested he could post these things for us and save us considerably on air freight so we sent everything to Jeff in August 07 he sent us a bank account number to wire the postage costs to him and you guessed it after this e-mail from Jeff.

I am sorry about the delay but I have had some extreme personal issues that have consumed my time and I have been running around I am leaving the office early today I have some legal issues $ that have to be dealt with immediately.
I went to the post office and the box was too long to be shipped but I had Eric get the box down to acceptable size this morning and I will get it gone by tomorrow or Saturday. The post will be approx 170.00 with insurance included and that is 5-10 day service that is the most inexpensive service they have to DOWN UNDER.
I will send a copy of the invoice for you.

It's now March 08 I have phoned many times and left many messages to be ignored I probably wouldn't have bothered to go to this extreme but this fuel cell was for a good friend of mine and I thought I was doing him a favor you can probably picture the position I was left in with my friend, this fuel cell including postage cost my friend approximately $1000 Australian dollars. Not to mention the money I sent to Jeff for other things, that he kept as well.
Be warned don't trust Jeff Jarvis!
