Ramada, Imperial Majesty Cruise Line
They thought they had me!

About 3 months ago I receive a phone call from a automatic telemarketer stating that I could win a free cruise to the Bahamas if I took a quick survey, so I did. I had already booked a 4 night 5 day cruise with royal caribbean cruise line back in june and I would just take the free cruise to nassau before I took the big cruise with r. Caribbean this coming May.

After taking the survey I was told to call a number and a lady answered and asked for my name as how I would like it to appear on my bording pass and by this time I was getting excited at the sound of a free cruise. I was then told to go to their website and make sure my information was correct and that I would be contacted by one of their representatives within the next 72 hours. That part wasnt a lie because my phone was ringing off the hook.

I answered and it was a lady telling me about my free cruise to the bahamas but I would just have to pay a small port fee. I was fine with that but I told her I didnt know who was going with me and that I didnt have the money to pay right away but I would call back and let them know. The girl then told me that they would through in las vegas and a few days in mexico, I explained that that all sounded real good but I dont have the money on my card.

She then placed me on hold and a a*h* name JAY got on the phone and I explained to him my situation and he said that since I didnt have the money I could just give him my card number and he would not charge it, he just needed it to hold my package, I agreed. He then placed me on hold and came back to the phone and said that my card had went through for $360 and my heart dropped because I knew that money wasnt there and that the thought of all those overdraft fees and the money I would have to pay back to the bank made my stomach hurt. I was dizzy and I almost passed out but I pulled it together enough to mumble the words "you charged my card for what!" he said something after that but to honest, I believe I was to shock to hear anything.

He the transferred me to the verification department with a lady with a accent that was hard to understand, I guess so you wouldnt beable to make out what she was saying. Here's where I snapped back to reality and remembered working for a company similiar to this one and I remembered that if you do not allow the person to verify your card information that they CANNOT CHARGE YOUR CARD regardless if they had already sent the transaction through, it will only be pending at the moment but if you dont allow the verification at the end they have to reverse the transaction and that's what happened in my case.

The guy Jay and another lady got back on the phone and tried to make me confirm that that was my card and I kept refusing and Jay got extremely nasty and tried to curse me out that's when I had to show that M*F* who he was talking to. He hung up on me and that was very rude so I called him back and cursed him out some more and he hung up again. I contacted my bank and they said if it does come through it will be knocked out as soon as it did.

I then called Jay back to rub it in, he was angry and hung up again. Then yesterday a lady called me trying to scam me again from that trash bin and I wouldnt go for it and she hung up in my face. I then found this site and we all share the same experience. The only thing I recommend to someone in this same situation is to make sure you are on tape saying No! And make sure to refuse that lady from the verification department, simply hang up and call the bank.
