This company wich I started with in tulsa, ok three years ago was very upstanding the woman that was in charge was great and I owe all my success and hardheadedness to suceed. I then followed the company to hartford Ct. I up and left all of my friends, family ect. No big deal a lot of that was my so called "step7"
After spending a year in the field in advertising I got promoted to asst. Mgr. So noew I knew it was for real all of the freedom they had always promised me now came true. I spent about 5 mo.in the office learning all of the duties with my mgr. She was very good a t teaching me the ropes of running the business.
Around oct. They had a place for me in Omaha NE. Wich I went to with only two guys (wich of course I was a bit nervouse about) but I knew my drive and training would get me through. Of course my bussiness blew up soon I had 40 people in my office makiking 1500 a day.
Then I ran into a man named mark kernan, which was the biggest thorn in my ass. He would show up at my business unannounced with no invite... I thouyght this was my business and thsat I could run it the way I wanted to. Not quite. I had to comply with all of their training methods and if not they would threaten me with "shutting me down" I believed them until I stood up to them...
The thing that a lot of owners within ds-max do not realize is that ds-max is just a supplier and thsat is it they are not your bass they don't own anything in your building except your merchandise.
Finnally about 3 weeks ago this mark kernan or as he refers to himself as "god" shows up at my office to take there merchandise wich of course they would do since I would'nt ever in million years kiss his a*! Well the bastards thought they had me they tried to take all of my furniture when I wasnt around I could sit here for days and tell you the things thaey did to me. Well they only slowed me and my crew down for a few days but allI did is take the knowledge that they gave me and started my own business and it is so much better now I make more money I have the same opportunity as I always did and so do people working with me, yeah it is scary as hell but it will be worth it in the long run...
To all of you owners out there that are in business and you are not on aVP's sucky sucky list get out now save yourself... Take the money and the guys you have and run. Start your own deal... You can make it withut them I am and I am living proof. Don't let them mess with your mind stand up to them I did, I had the cops throw a vice president out of mu building.
