I'm looking for a deadbeat dad named Michael Lee Hayes (DOB 9/14/1967). His last known address was at his mom's house in Phoenix, AZ.
He has not been paying court-ordered child support. My current estimate of back child support owed by Michael Lee Hayes is over $20,000.
While not paying child support, Mr. Hayes has Managed to have his drivers license suspended for failure to appear for a traffic ticket in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is not allowed to register a vehicle in Arizona due to civil convictions in Phoenix, Arizona for driving with a suspended license, failure to insure his vehicle, and failure to register his vehicle (after initially failing to appear, of course). Mr. Hayes also now has a criminal conviction in Peoria, Arizona for a drug paraphernalia charge, as well as an unspecified local charge in Maricopa municipal court with yet another unpaid fine.
Q: How can someone who has a court-ordered lien on his wages manage to not pay child support in-state for over 6 years?
A: Because in Arizona, when you report where a deadbeat like this is working to the proper authorities, they give the deadbeat two weeks to fight the (pre-existing) court order. Funny, but that's the same amount of time it takes for a deadbeat to move on, taking his last check with him (again, and again, and again).
