I Recieved a email from a women (Miranda Banda) advitising Cocker Spaniel pups for adoption!
I had been looking for Cocker spaniel pups for a while and emailed back this Miranda Banda saying i was interested. She emailed back infomation about the pups, saying she is busy with work over in Dublin and has no time for pups and seemed very nice and genuine. Then she sent me pics of them, at this time was really interested.
Miranda Banda said she didint want any money for them all i had to pay was shipping fees.
I then received an email from the shipping company saying they have the puppies in transit and are waiting shipment fee of 170 as i requested 2 puppies. I had to pay this payment by getting a money gram transfer form from the post office and fill in details and make the payment.
Then after i made the Payment i had to ring up the Pet relocation company back with the refence number so the puppies could then be delivered.
I then received a email from the shipping company again claiming that the puppies could not be delivered as they have no life insurance policy and i would have to then make a further payment of 120 but would be refunded 85% of this on delivery. I did not have the 120 so i rang up the number i had on the email and asked why i wasint told this before i payed the shipping fee, the man on other end of phone then pretended he couldint understand me, when asked to speak to manager, manager was supposedly in a meeting. I demanded a refund and he said i would receive my refund in a hour! (how would i receive it in a hour?) And i got angry and he hung up.
After this i looked up there website on google and found this website with people who had already been conned by them! Then stupidly realised this has happened to me!
I quickly rang the money gram transfer people up, who i had to make the payment too and they said the payment has been received by the shipping company and too late to stop them receiving payment. I was advised to contact the police!
These people are cruel and sick for what they are doing, conning people out of there money for love of animals. I know i wont receive my money back but these people will get whats coming to them. I am only 20 and on a low wage and had been saving money for a while and these people take it away with no care in the world for how we feel!
I just advise people to check up if you receive an email from these people especially from Miranda Banda ([email protected]) dont trust anyone over internet!
