An 18 yr old girl came to my door and told me she moved in with her grandmother 4 mths ago. She played on a traveling softball team and needed to sell books so the team can earn enough money to go to san diego. I asked her alot of questions and she was very believable. I wrote her a check for a book, a neighbor called me to warn me about her going door to door. Neighbor is a policeman and was familiar with the scam. I cancelled the check and luckily the bank did not charge me a fee. Be careful of anyone seeling anything from that company.
