We are the victims of the crime we posted on RIP OFF by the two sisters; Carolyn and Laura Patterson, in Waldorf, Maryland. They worked in the office of our oncologist in the same town. We gave them MONEY to put toward our accout each and every month in 2006.. But to our horror; they were not posting our money to our account with our doctor. We had no idea about it, since our cleared checks were coming back as cashed or deposited. But; two mos; these girls requested more payments or they were going to sue us and take us to court; the doctor told us, we should make payments. We told him and showed him that we had been doing that all of 2006.. He then fired these two cons.
We were given back the money we had overpaid. But we feel these girls need to be brought to justice. We have enough stress with the loss of our only son age 29; and now husband is battling oral squamous cell carsinoma and had his tongue removed 2005... And dealing with side effects from months of daily radiation and yr of chemo. And 48 % xchance. These girls saw us come in daily for treatments and even took my husbands blood work. And gave us hugs. And they took advantage of our grief and coping with such stress in our lives. Not caring or having any compassion for us. They took our hard earned money each month and then asked for more saying they have no idea where the checks went to. Or why they weren't posted to our account.
Now we find that they live a walking distance from us. This is difficult. But we dont approach them. Just bidding our time in hope someone will help us bring these cons in. We believe our doctor had no idea these two were cons. Maybe he should have done a thourough investigation on them. But its too late for that now. I found them on Maryland Judiciary cases..
We remain strong willed. And wont' sit by and allow these girls to make fools out of anyone else or abuse the legal system.
