I saw an ad on Google for a site claiming to deliver 95% winning selections for sports picks, it gave a link for www.benjamingoldberg.com
I went to the site and was totally impressed with the guy's credentials and education and his past record in picking sports, it was mind boggling.
Being in need of some extra income, I e-mailed him and he e-mailed me back the following day with an toll free number to call him and he said he was in Vegas.
I called him and he asked for my number so he could call me back because he was busy. Ten minutes later he called back and started to tell me about his program and how much I could make.
Between his site and his phone presentation I thought I had just hit the jackpot. He wanted a $1,000 deposit but would give me a "free play" for that evening to prove himself first.
He called back and gave me a baseball game to watch and told me I would have to wait about 5 minutes after it started in case I was working for one of his competitors.
He called me at 6:05 pm and told me that the "total" points on the Philly game was 8 and that the game would definitely go over the total. I did not bet because I had no way of doing so.
By the time I found the score on TV, 5 runs had been scored and the total was clearly going over 8 points.
He called me back after the game and explained how much money I was going to make this year and how I would do my taxes etc. So finally, I agreed to send him $500 the next day.
I sent $500 via Western Union to Las Vegas in the name of one of his workers named Timothy Wittneben and after they picked up the money, they had my phone number blocked so I could not call again.
This all happened a little over a week ago. I am laid-off, needed the money and have learned a valuable lesson.
