Ok, folks, I too was scammed by Startupessentials. After two weeks of feeling like I was really stupid, this morning I took my life back into my own hands.
1. Changed all my bank accounts.
2. Changed my email address
3. Changed my phone number.
4. Changed my cell phone number
5. Got a PO box
6. Sent them back their precious computer.
7. Sent them back their lovely notebook.
8. Told them they could use their noncancellable contract as toilet paper, and I would rather spend every penny we have fighting them in court, than to give them one red cent.
9. Heaved a big sigh of relief and went out and had a big sub sandwich. I haven't felt like eating much in the last two weeks.
So, do not let them intimidate you. I really do not think they have the money to fight us all. Anyone ready for a class action?
