First complaint - I have personally witnessed Robert, the old man, taking a donation and putting it his white van. The store says it is a non-profit organization through cathedral ministries yet, dottie, the old lady, i overhered saying her daughter owns the store. I asked a "voluteer" about it and he said the old man's duaghter own's the place and he could have what ever he wanted. Is this legal?
Second complaint - I saw and once talked to a hispanic lady that was working in the back, named maria or something like that, she said she got to america via the "long walk", that they all get paid under the table. I guess so no questions are asked. I recently went in to the store again and someone else was working the clothes. She said the hispanic girl had twins. I assume she will be back again soon.
Third complaint - i did find out that the old lady and man's duaghter owns Golden Image reality here in garden city. And a while back a "Volunteer" told me that they got payed off to the side and if there were problems they could just use the Golden image reality for the 1099s. I can only guess no paperwork means no questions. And i did infact once see a man getting payed from right out the regester, get in his car and leave.
Fourth complaint - i tryed talking to the guy at Cathedreal Ministries but got nowhere.
