Let's all be honest with ourselves. To create and maintain any business requires the following:
1. Education
2. Experience and
3. Capital.
And I know! That you care enough about your money and you're the only one who does above anyone else! So if you do, then you'll hear me out because honestly! If you! Were to put me in charge of the growth of your funds, BY GOD! I'd see to it that you'd get paid twice or more than the amount you invested! You think I'm joking? I DON'T THINK SO! I care enough about people and the value of their lives to see to it that they are looked after, just like a mother loves and cares for her child and would do ANYTHING! To see to it that, her child is well cared for. The same would be if! I were put in charge of other people's money. Down to business.
Quite frankly I don't know everything there is to know about this business. If you love!!! Telemarketing and risking some money, by all means go with this business.instead of saying that I was lied to, I'm going to try to set things straight.
I allowed myself to fall for this falsehood of Russ's and YES! I was lied to, but I learned the truth from other sources who are MORE professional that make Russ look like stand up circus clown who's just told the worst and oldest joke from the book of GOD. I'm not in this either, but I decided to stick up for my integrity and tell things from the heart.
Russ Dalbey deliberately candy coats everything there is about this industry by saying that money can be made "fast and easy."
Sure! Anyone can make money fast and easy, but only if you fit the three catagories above. Yes! Mistakes are made and you learn from them and use your knowledge to become better.
But the grim truth that Russ has deliberately lied about this industry and given it a very bad name and I CAN PROVE IT!!!
If anyone is interested in this industry I STONGLY ADVISE the book, "Fast Cash" by MRS. Stevens (I think) and the tape seminar on the not business, by Joel Cassaway. Because this industry isn't a "Get rich quick business". It's a get rich slow business. Ninety percent of all of your mailings will come back as, Address Unknown, Return to Sender, while 9% will be curious and say not interested and only 1% will say, "Sure! I'll sell my note! To you or someone else!" Truth be it, who's gonna want to sell their note that's putting money in their pockets on a monthly basis? Chances of that happening are very slim. I KNOW BECAUSE I WORKED MY BUTT OFF!!! MADE TONS OF CALLS and GOT NO WHERE!!!
Sad thing is, I fell for the carrot in front of the donkey's nose, like alot of people and got into something where I lost alot of money but I learned from my own experience of losing money and have lost some of that fear. I admit it! I too reacted, instead of thought things out logically. We all have to start somewhere. The first three points above apply to any!
Business etc.
I'm not saying that the note business is bad and risky to get into, all I'm saying is that Russ Dalbey is purposely ruining the reputation for those in this business who have a great one with their people etc. Better yet! The author of the book "Fast Cash" purposely took her membership off of Russ's web Site, because she herself got no where with this. And Loreli Stevens the author of that book told me in an e-mail reply herself and she, as well as Joel Cassaway, should be given more credit and none to Russ Dalbey.
Russ is the type of person who speaks with a fork tounge. Pretends to be your friend and will explain how he's stood up for your best interests etc, while he's practically STABBING you in the back! And forking money out of you, while he still tries to convince you of how beautiful the world is, when he swindling you.
IF you want to get into this business, do your research first! GO with someone else who will get to the grim truth of things and be not only cut and dry with the work of the industry, but! Very firm!!! I don't mean doom and gloom stories all the way. But someone who while being firm, cares enough about YOU! Your money! And your time! And who isn't going to BS you after you've paid your money, taken your chances and that person says, "HA! Ha! Ha! I can't believe that was so easy!" and you're left with the words plastered on your face, "SUCKER!" while walking around with embarrassment amongst your friends, who'd probably be saying, "Told Ya So!"
I can only hope that my words of wisdom will help you do a better research than just watching tv and all of a sudden react like a 2yr (Sorry) saying, "I WANT THAT!" In doing your research better before making a decision, you'll have more headway and fun with this industry, than you would in listening to some stand up circus clown trying to be a "Monty Python" or Jeff Foxworthy.
