I recently noticed a recurring charge on my account for $12.95 from a company listed only as AP9 Shopping Essentials. I contacted my bank inquiring about this charge since I did not know where it was coming from. The bank didn't know either nor did they have a telephone number listing where the charge was coming from.
The bank said that the only thing they could do was file a dispute for fraudulant charges and start an investigation, which I have done.
Since I could not find out where the charge was coming from I started investigating on my own to find out what this company is and found plenty of complaints from others that are experiencing the same problem.
I still do not know how they got my card number or exactly what this company is.
This company is a scam and needs to be prosecuted for their actions. They need to be stopped.
