On approximately 4-21-06, I walked to the First Institutional Baptist Church to try and get some dinner. I was homeless in Phoenix and had no money and no place to stay.
I walked quite a ways and upon arrival, there were two Phoenix Policemen at the place near the entrance to the dining room. They said it was alright to go in.
I was refused entrance by a Black Man with a Pink hat on of some sort. He claimed they were full. I was somewhat angry about this but forgot about it, (because I have this training that I have to forget everything bad that is done to me, well that's over), but after beging refused shelter at Central Arizona Shelter Services a week later, I got really upset. I cut my Arizona Driver's license in pieces that night after a Phoenix Police Car kept chasing up and down the street, I believe because they were following me. I won't be back to this Baptist Church. Thank You, Phoenix Library
