Texas Wide Security
Ripoff

I went to work for Texas Wide Security which is a private security company in Austin, Texas in 2002. The only reason I am just now posting is that I don't want anybody else to get ripped off the way I was ripped off there by the same people who may be operating another security company scam under a different name (But I have theirs and the name of one guy in particuliar!)

I had been ripped off by Alliance Security Forces, also in Austin, Texas, and I went to work for Texas Wide Security in 2002. I was drawing a nice unemployment check and had $5,000 in my unemployment insurance account and two federal extensions that I never had thechance to use.

The guy who was doing the hiring at Texas Wide Security was a guy named ANTOHONY LACOSTE (d.O.B. 04/14/1966 so as to not confuse HIM with anyone by the same name!). He was also working for ALLIANCE SECURITY FORCES at the same time. This was a very common ripoff that Alliance Security Forces would use. They would get one of their people working on the inside of another security company & like they did at the now defunct CROWN SECURITY —and they would sabotage the records and call the regulating board on the company and destroy from within — or they would find out how much they were charging all of their clients and then they would go in and underbid and take away the accounts and put their own people to work on the accounts. If you were working for the other security company & suddenly NO JOB!

Well, Mr, LACOSTE was working for Alliance Security Forces and he apparently asked one of the owners of that company who was about ready to go out of business in order to avoid several liabilities, including a grave personal injury suit from a friend of mine! In order to avoid having to pay any UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION, the owner of Alliance Security Forces at that time and another company I had worked for got together and then they told Mr. LACOSTE to promise me that I would have unlimited overtime. This was OK with me so I was hired at Texas Wide-and of course, I lost my unemployment.

I was there for one and one-half weeks before I noticed that I was NOT getting the hours as promised. Something was wrong. I thought that since it was a start-up company that it would be a little slow but LACOSTE had assured me that it was a going concern with LOTS of overtime because word had not got out among job hunters yet.

Turned out, I worked ONE weekend with the owner of the company who was an entirely HONEST and HONORABLE man and I mentioned to him what LACOSTE had told me. This is the guy who ACTUALLY OWNS THE COMPANY so I would imagine that he knows his business and he told me that I would be lucky to get 15 hours a week and that would be guarding HISPANIC NIGHT CLUBS on the weekend because THAT WAS ALL HIS BUSINESS WAS EVER DESIGNED TO DO.

Not only that, the pay I was promised by LACOSTE was MUCH, MUCH lower than I had been promised and I think that he was keeping some of it. He always had a sneer when he came on post to check on the officers who were actually on the street.

When i finally realized i had been had, i quit.

LACOSTE did NOT want to pay me my money for the two weeks I had worked and I had to go to the Texas Workforce Commission's PAYDAY LAW section. They freeze all of the employer's assets until that crook pays up! Well, since they were licensed by the State and since they had sent in a form authorizing me to work for them, there was no way to deny I was not an employee so THEY HAD TO PAY! I was doing good to get the near minimum wage pay and NOT the money that LACOSTE promised me.

I tried to explain this to the Unemployment people but I LOST ALL OF MY UNEMPLOYMENT AND THE TWO EXTENSIONS FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT all because I believed that lying dishonest (EXPLETIVE DELETED!)

Through a third party, I found out that he and my former two employers had gotten together and plotted to cheat me out of my UNEMPLOYMENT which I had due to me.

The previous employer was ALLIED SECURITY which is better known today as ALLIED BARTON!

Because of lacoste, i lost my car, my home telephone and my electric power service.

I have NOT been able to get a job in the security field in Austin, Texas since!

I went to the Texas Department of Public Safety site to check and see if he is working in private security in Austin, Texas anywhere so I could post the company for all to see. All of his credentials appear to be expired except he MIGHT be working for the company that bought Alliance Security Forces...
But since they have not ripped me off, I will not name them here.

DO NOT GO TO WORK FOR ANYWHERE THIS GUY IS WORKING BECAUSE HE WILL RIP YOU OFF ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. I figure he has at least $200 I should have had but he had all the aces since he was in charge of the hiring at the time and payroll...

Yet another ripp off by the private security contracting industry in AUSTIN, Texas!
