I thought going to church was a good way to find good people. I found that good people are not always at church. There are 168 hours in every week. Every Sunday is 3 hours out of 168 hours in a week for church. You can't socialize at church because someone is giving a speech. Maybe 1/2 hour you could talk to some before you leave for home, if there interested.
At the LDS church there are many churches, its worldwide. Its a mixture of people and ideas, mixture of likes and dislikes. People can have a double standard, say one thing and do another. The LDS church split into 3 groups: In the begining it split into the LDS Church with Brigham Young as its leader, or RLDS church with Joseph Smith Jr. The 2nd, as its leader. After my Great Grandmother's, Grandfather's, Nephew - Joseph Smith Jr that wrote the Book of Mormon, I have read or heard many lies about him. People need to face the fact, that what exists, just as can be seen, does exist only as it was or is or will be. People Slander people trying to help others, they become the "fool" and the strange, the so called "fact". Joseph Smith Jr and D&C 42 is about what caused the split, and the north against the south - Slavery, Joseph was against slavery and against Polygamy, because its a double standard, he was born near Thomas Jefferson, the state of Vermont, 12-23-1805 and learned that the concept of God is not about a double standard, that slavery is bad. God is not about overpopulation that create hate and starvation. If you have a smart person and standards, someone will work against it, example: What happend in Colombia, South America when they chose to stop Cocaine. Or stop Alcohol for sell.in history church people faked a scripture that people should become a polygamist, and threated Joseph with death or jail if he did not join - D&C 131. Then in D&C 135 they write "treachous". Then its Brigham Young as there leader. After Brigham Young dies, they have something better, they don't allow Polygamy and another split occurs and they call them the "Fundamentalist Church".
Now you have the LDS Church, The Community Of Christ Church, or before the name change LDS, RLDS, and FLDS Church. I find that I must believe what is real and not live a double standard. I thought that I could find people at church to be friends with and hope I would marry someone. I went to several places on the internet to join one, LDS people, or something good. When I went to LDSMingle it wrote pay $69 and forever use there service, never pay anything more, I thought that was good because people are difficult to be friends with. They don't write to me, they don't include me in something good to be part of. Sara at LDSMingle has tried to dump me for any reason she can think of or make me buy more to continue there at LDSMingle.com. She has emoticons of several things, including insults "a nerd". Yet they think I'm abuse for begging some attention, they say hello sometimes, and ends after that. I can't get there interest, and now there Internet access has come to an end now, after I paid them money, a promise of forever at $69. I go to church and say nice about Joseph Smith Jr. At a Single Adult activity at the LDS Church there were abusive. I tried to pass the Sacrement one Sunday they ignored me until I reached the middle, then they started wanting some and blamed for not gives them some.
