A student came to my door and needed to sell magazine subcriptions in order to take a trip this summer to Cancun, Mexico. I still have the orginal receipt for a magazine subscription of European Car and signed up for 24 issues at 50.00, and never received a magazine yet, and the date on the receipt is April 18. The salesperson was a student from Texas, her name was Myra Potter.
This will teach me to never trust a salesperson going door to door selling anything ever again. I think I have learned a costly lesson through this big mistake. And it's really too bad that I can't trust anyone these days. I only tried to help send this student on a nice vacation.
