I received a newsletter from one of my groups, stating 3 cd's for shipping charges, I know the program on the cd's are free programs so I decided to pay the $4.95 and get them all in one place instead of getting from 3 different places.
Anyway, I put the information of my credit card in their website
for $4.95 shipping. They sent me a confirmation letter telling me, "thanks for the order and my credit card would be charged $4.95, and would I please, "Help them to give these CD's away",
They then stole $39.95 from my card plus 4.95 for shipping. I'm also going to contact TX BBB; and Consumers Affairs of TX.
I also belong to some groups some with over 2000 member and I intend to let all them know that they should not be ripped off by these people. I cancelled the credit card that they had access to... We've got to stop these theives someway..
Thanks
